How about that Daniela Hantuchova - she knocked off No. 1 see Caroline Wozniacki in the 2011 French Open. Hantuchova, seeded No. 28, didn't just beat Wozniacki, she demolished the world No. 1, 6-1, 6-3, in the third round.

Arantxa Rus

Arantxa Rus is the unseeded Dutch player who knocked off No.2 seed Kim Clijsters in the second round of the 2011 French Open. Rus won the match 3-6, 7-5, 6-1.

Rus has won seven times (five singles, two doubles) on the ITF circuit, but has yet to win a WTA title. Although she did win the Australian Open junior title in 2008. She cracked the WTA Top 100 for the first time in April 2011.

Sabine Lisicki

What a terrible fate for Sabine Lisicki in the second round of the 2011 French Open. Lisicki, who got into the major as a qualifier, held a match point at 5-2 in the second against 3rd-seeded Vera Zvonareva. But she wound up losing 5-7 in the third, the match lasting 2 1/2 hours, and Lisicki suffering terrible cramps, dizziness and blurred vision in the second half of that set. When the match ended, she was taken off the court on a stretcher. She appears to fine now, however, after treatment at a hospital.

Anna Kournikova Joining 'Biggest Loser"

The headline sounds weird, but former tennis vixen Anna Kournikova really is joining the cast of NBC hit reality series Biggest Loser when that show returns next season. Anna is replacing hard-charging (OK, mean) trainer Jillian Michaels. No word on what exactly Kournikova's role will be, although generally we can assume she'll be whipping folks into shape. But probably in a much nicer fashion than Michaels did.

Johanna Larsson

You know what the world needs more of? Swedish women. Like Johanna Larsson.

Larsson entered the 2011 French Open ranked No. 64 in WTA singles. But in the first round she beat former world No. 1 Ana Ivanovic, the 20th seed. Larsson won by a score of 7-6, 0-6, 6-2.

Her favorite movies are The Notebook and Remember the Titans.

The Los Angeles Times recently published a ranking of the "50 Most Beautiful Female Celebrities." Good news: They included Ana Ivanovic, putting her at No. 41. Bad news: They spelled her name wrong.
