Thom Evans Rugby Star Profile,Bio and Images/Photos 2012

Full name: Thom Henry Evans
Date of birth: 2 April 1985
Place of birth: Harare, Zimbabwe
Height: 6 ft 0 in (1.83 m)
Weight: 14 st 5 lb (91 kg)
School: Wellington College, Berkshire

Major teams: Glasgow, London Wasps, Scotland A, Scotland

Thom Evans had a breakthrough season in 2004/2005 as he followed an impressive performance against the Stormers in his first XV debut with his first Premiership appearance against Worcester in April. He also received an invitation from England Seven Coach, Mike Friday, to play in the 'Samurai' development seven in Amsterdam after a starring performance during the Floodlit Sevens at Rosslyn Park with the A Team Seven.
Evans comes from a strong sporting family as his mother, Sally Evans, was the 100M provincial champion for Durban Province in South Africa. His father, Brian Evans was a professional golfer that won a few opens on the European tour.
Although Evans moved into the Academy from Wellington College, he has travelled down some very unique roads in his life outside of rugby. It's quite easy for Evans to say that if he were not playing rugby, he would be a rock star because ' at least for a while ' he already was. He and his group, Twen2y 4 se7en, were beginning to draw some rather large crowds by the time that he made the make or break decision to leave a music career behind and focus on rugby full-time.
Evans admits, however, that he still wants to be a pin-up with his face on every wall and he's still known to break out some moves on the dance floor. He also enjoys playing golf, seeing films, and listening to music.

Kyle Orton Rugby Player Biography & Photos 2011

Kyle Orton (born November 14, 1982) is an American football quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. He played college football at Purdue, where he started four straight bowl games. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. After an injury to Bears starter Rex Grossman, Orton was pressed into service as the starting quarterback during his rookie year, starting the first 14 games of the 2005 season, but was replaced by Grossman for the playoffs that year. Orton didn't play at all in 2006, and sparingly in 2007. Orton regained his starting job from Grossman in 2008, but the team finished a disappointing 9-7 and out of the playoffs. In the offseason of that year, he was traded to the Denver Broncos.
Kyle Orton started his Broncos career well, winning his first six games in the 2009 season, but injuries hobbled him in the second half of the season. Though Orton played well when healthy, throwing 21 touchdowns to only 12 interceptions, the team finished 8-8 and out of the playoffs. Orton started 2010 season as the starting quarterback, though the team was not competitive most of the season, finishing 4-12. Orton was injured again, and replaced by Tim Tebow for the final three games of the 2010 season. In 2011 he again began the season as a starter, but he was replaced by Tebow again after a disappointing start to the season. Following several weeks on the bench, in which he did not take a snap for the Broncos, he was released by the Broncos on November 22, and claimed off of waivers by the Kansas City Chiefs the next day.

Jonny Wilkinson Rugby Star Girlfriend Images 2011

‘Are they decent and honest and are you giving consideration to other people? Selfishness can never be the route to happiness or success.’

Wilkinson’s live-in girlfriend Shelley Jenkins, 27, the daughter of a scaffolding magnate, is apparently ‘really happy’ about Wilkinson’s new enlightenment.

‘I have improved as a person in my relationships, not just with her, but with friends and family,’ he said.

Asked to explain the deeper reason for his Buddhist faith, he added: ‘I think it was rooted in an even deeper fear of death.

‘I couldn’t figure out how to avoid death: it was like a game I could not win. The closer I got to family and friends and the better things got, the more I had to lose.

‘I have accepted my career will finish one day and I am in a place that will enable me to make that transition comfortably. I will not have to reinvent myself to cope with life after rugby.’

Although Wilkinson is about to publish his autobiography, it will not mention Buddhism and physics in case anyone ‘might have thought I was trying to be the new Stephen Hawking’.
