Bojana Jovanovski is from Serbia and she finished the 2010 WTA season as the youngest player in the Top 100 (age 18 at that time). She's still looking for her first WTA singles title, but does have four ITF singles trophies. In May of 2011, she reached No. 50 in the WTA world rankings, which was her highest rank to date.
Bojana is in the news lately for a geographical mixup - although a mixup that was apparently her travel agent's fault and not her own fault. She was traveling to a tournament in Carlsbad, Calif., but was booked to Carlsbad, N.M., instead. Whoops! The Los Angeles Times tennis blog has the full story.
